Out of surgery
We got the the hospital around 5:30...Lisa got a little butterfly from Dolores and Karen C. that you can hold in your hands and rub when you are nervous, she got it out in the waiting room. We went to the surgery waiting room and Lisa and Karen went on up to Op prep. She got to talk to all the nurses and doctors that were going to be in the O.R. She even got to tell Dr Tracy that she "wanted him to keep her memory in there" He told her that is what he wants too. She just looked forward when he said that. She was so nervous and scared.

I love this butterfly and what it represents to Lisa. It has been a great comfort to her! It was a pleasure to us to see how much she responded to it!

To Dolores, Karen, and Rick! I know you are going through so much right now and I can't imagine. I wish they were in the same ICU!
Lisa is quite concerned with Russ, just know every prayer I send for Lisa goes to Russ and y'all too! We love you!
