funny

OK, so I come in and get Lisa supper, watch alittle TV and get into the shower...ask her to stand up and she tells me she is going to collapse...and she did...very slowly and graceful I might add. She lands in the corner of the shower and I laugh and make a joke out of it. She laughed and asked me "now what?" I told her we are gonna get up! Well, we did it and it only took one try...I went in the other room and said a quick prayer and then got to work. We did good, and let me tell you, it took both of us. When we got back into the chair, I high fived her and she had a smile on her face and told me that she didn't know if I was gonna leave her there!!!!! I said...Lisa Ann, do you think I would do that? Well you never know, was her response.
She is all smiles and tucked into bed, I am headed home. Night!

It could have been disastrous! But making light of it made it all good!

  1. I'm very happy she is doing well! I met her at the nursing home about 3 weeks ago; a bunch of us at Heartland CC were there for a class. I was alarmed to find the blog again this morning and see that all this has happened to her! Do you have a current address? My email is j.poncin@my.heartland.edu. Thanks.

  2. I am so glad to hear that Lisa is back at the apartments! We have a PAC meeting coming up this coming Monday and I will be anxious to hear how her progress is going. She is such a fighter...and so is her family. Thank God she has such a wonderful family!
