Lisa called me the other day to complain that she did not like the carpet that is in her apt. It was one that I had given her, a really nice, thick, dark designed rug that I had in my living room for several years.
Well....it has a "sample" super sticky sticker on the end of it and I tried, really tried to get it off, but, hey, it really didn't bother me. I just put a foot stool or something over it. It has been in Lisa's apt since Oct. She JUST noticed it and HATES it. She wants a new carpet and thinks that this one is...and I quote, "Nasty". I told her that of course she can get a new one, when she gets enough $$$ for one. She wants one NOW and wants to go get one. LOL! Karen told me she called her to tell her and Karen directed her call to me, since it was my rug in the first place.
She went to the Dr on Thursday and had some blood work done. She is pre-menopausal we think, which could explain her mood swings. She is getting used to working with different ladies in her apt. She told one that she was lazy, because she was not going to do for Lisa what Lisa can do for herself...Karen and I talked to her about getting better and that this lady is helping her...she didn't like that.
Karen and I told the lady that that was perfect and that is exactly how we would deal with her. Lisa can really hurt a person's feelings. She is a bit overbearing sometimes, even with us, but we know her, and we love her and we just know; if that makes sense.
Lisa is still going to therapy, is progressing ever so slowly, which is her nature. But there IS improvement and there IS progress. Yay! She got weighed also, when we asked her if she wanted to know her weight, she sighed and didn't answer. We asked her again and let her know that if she didn't want to know, we wouldn't tell her. She sighed and said she wanted to know. We told her and she said, "I need to get that down" we told her that she can do it if she puts her mind to it. Poor Lisa. She is the biggest that she has ever been, but she also is not able to get up and walk unattended like she used to. She will get there though. It might take months or even years, but I think she will.
We just hope that those working with her will be pushy and not be pushed by Lisa.
